Bills back on the phone with me. Now hes walked out of the office and gotten a ride with a friends husband who drove down to rescue his wife.
He says they cant drive out because of the fires. Its the union burning the tires. When I think to myself how can I save my job? burning tires is the first thing that pops into my head.
He says the students are just there to enjoy the party. I guess students everywhere can turn anything into a party.
I hope they get out. I hope the syndicate (union) doesnt attack the Americans in the big BMW trying to escape. And hopefully no one will burn Bills car overnight. Heck, maybe they will and we can finally get a big enough one for vacations.
Tire burning….hmmm. This starts to sound like the LA riots several years ago. I agree, no logowear for a while. How ironic that being on overseas assignment protects one’s job more than being here. Another hmmmm.
