We got our first electric bill today. We have lived in the house less than one week and already they are sending us a bill. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Naturally, the bill is in French. (all sorts of things one wouldn’t think of are in French besides bills and letters from the bank or insurance company: the oven, the washer\/dryer, voice mail prompts on the cell phone, cooking instructions on food)<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

I think the bill is telling me that it is charging us in advance for electricity. How is that even possible?<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
